About #
Welcome! I am a research engineer and PhD student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). I am apart of the Non-Linear and Complex Systems nacs lab at UAH. My research focuses on applying first-principles mathematics to engineering problems. On the mathematics side, the beautiful theory of chaos and information theory is of particular interest. On the engineering side, I love using electronics (discrete and integrated), Field Programable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and Software Defined Radios (SDRs).
I have also been fortunate to work as a live audio engineer for concerts, houses of worship and corporate events. While I’ve worn every audio hat, most often I can be found in the back as the A2, systems engineer or monitor engineer. If you happen to have a corporate event need, I highly recommend talking to the amazing people at Signature Production Group (SPG).
This website aims to be both a practical distribution point of content (i.e., lecture notes, contact info, etc.) and an interesting collection notes, thoughts and tutorials that don’t fit in a conference or journal publication, but still may have value to someone.

Open Source 10b SAR ADC #
Here is an open source 10b SAR ADC we taped out as apart of the IEEE SSCS DC 2022 Chipathon. The PDK, design and tools are entirely open source so any one (including you) can recreate our design. It was taped out on a multiproject wafer with a PLL made by Christof Gindu and a set of 60GHz demonstration structures made by Leonardo Amorese Gallo Gomes.
